Ethics
Each
chapter published in our peer-reviewed book series, as well each
series' volume is a part of respected network of scientific
knowledge. It is a direct reflection of the quality of your author's
work and the institutions that support your work. When submitting your
manuscript to publication in "Biodiversity, biogeography and nature
conservation in Wallacea and New Guinea" book series, you agree upon
high standards of expected ethical behavior for all parties involved in
the process of manuscript assessment and publishing: the author(s), the
main editor, the peer reviewer(s), and the publisher (the Entomological
Society of Latvia).

Terms & Conditions
By submitting your manuscript, you agree to follow Instructions to authors, publication ethics (above) and these conditions.
All manuscripts are subject of peer review. Two independent reviews are mandatory for each manuscript. Reviewers will be selected by the Chief Editor depending on the subject of the manuscript. Those reviewers decided not to remain anonymous are listed and their contribution acknowledged in the "Acknowledgements" section of each volume.
All book series' copyrights will be retained by the Entomological Society of Latvia. (Co)authors retain copyrights to particular (co)authored chapters.
Each (co)author will get single free hardcopy of the volume she/he contributed to, incl. free postage. Additional hard copies being provided for full price upon request.
No physical reprints will be offered to authors, but PDF (incl. high resolution) only.
All volumes will be given Open Access on www.biodiversitylibrary.org
The Entomological Society of Latvia does not guarantee any kind of satisfaction to the contributors, reviewers or readers of the book.
By accepting manuscripts for publication, the Entomological Society of Latvia does not offering any kind of financial refund to author(s) in case of any dissatisfaction.
